Our next introductory course will be a short, beautifully weighted series facilitated by Narottama. It will continue each Wednesday through July 25th. Please join us for any or all of these sessions. Treat your heart this month! 

We will be focusing on key teachings and meditation practices passed down through millennia within the Buddhist tradition. Participants will learn everything they need to begin a regular meditation practice or set their existing practice in a deeper context.

Dharma Day Program: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Sangha Picnic: 1 pm - 4 pm

Join us for an epic Dharma Day puja that will invite us to pay homage to the Dharma as it has arisen through time. The program will be a ritualized journey through the Three Yanas. We’ll begin with stories from the Pali Canon, followed by readings on the Six Paramitas and culminating in meeting the Buddha’s and Bodhisattvas whose mantras we chant to close the sevenfold puja.

This Sunday, April 1st, we will be sending Bettye Pruitt off for her 3-month ordination retreat in the mountains of Spain. All are welcome to join us for meditation, a celebratory puja, and rejoicing in Bettye’s many merits. Viriyalila will be leading with support by the women’s Mitra study group.

Please arrive no later than 10AM if you plan to join us for the morning. Offered by donations: $10-$5 suggested.
