She died in hospital in London, UK, at 18.30 local time today (7.30am 30th November, New Zealand time) from a severe bacterial and viral infection. Her daughter Genevieve had flown over from New Zealand and was with her, as was Dhammadinna; her sister Roi was present by telephone.
Navachitta was 62. She was ordained in the summer of 1990 at Taraloka. Her private preceptor...

Bhadrachitta (auspicious, friendly-hearted one) was ordained in 2001 at Il Convento by Anjali (private preceptor) and Sanghadevi (public preceptor). Her sadhana was Amitabha.
