To honour and support Bhante’s vision of a strong, vibrant, self sustainable centre in Bodhgaya. l have set up this page to help support our sangha in India who are trying to support and educate the poorest people of their society.
You are very welcome to attend the funeral service for Urgyen Sangharakshita. We are expecting large numbers. For the many not able to attend, we are hoping to provide live streaming of the funeral and burial but please note that, for technical reasons, we cannot guarantee this will be possible.
This week we are able to offer the opportunity to come and spend time with the body of our Teacher.
Centre and Groups coming in groups together have been informed of the time slots available to them over this period. Aparajita and Nandavajra will be co-ordinating this. The Chair of your Centre should be in contact to let you know what has been arranged for your centre should you wish to come along as a group.

I was invited to write the following little memoir as a contribution to a possible booklet to be published for Bhante’s funeral. Plans then changed, so it now seems fitting to post it on the Remembrance page for the Book of Gratitude.

At the time of posting, there are lots of rooms available at Church Farm in Coddington for Friday 9th and Saturday 10th.
