Karuna was formed in 1980 as the Triratna Buddhist Community’s response to the suffering of India’s Dalit community. For 30 years Karuna has worked with some of India’s most disadvantaged people, sending over £1 million every year to support low-caste and tribal communities fulfill their potential through our social and Dharma projects.

Well done to everyone invloved in our Summer Fair. Most of the Sangha were involved in some way or other, so a big thankyou to all of you who helped out. It was a great day, with a very positive atmosphere…and the sun even made an appearance after weeks of rain!
