An Invitation to our February Men's Great Gathering weekend.

In this video, co-leaders Akuppa and Padmasagara invite you to our first Men’s Great Gathering weekend of 2019 from 15th-17th February.

The weekend is open to those familiar with the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana meditation practices and open to Buddhist ritual as practised within Triratna.

Here she speaks about the what the natural burial movement is about, the links between nature, death and the land, how it connects with Buddhist practice and where the project is currently at.

Suryavana is the new retreat Centre for the Valencia Buddhist Centre.  One possible translation of Suryavana is rather apt description ‘the sun’s dwelling place’.  The Valencia Buddhist Centre bought a retreat centre of their own to cater for their gradually expanding retreat programme: increasing from three to four retreats a year to approximately twenty to twenty five retreats annually.
