UK: opportunity to become a Buddhist prison chaplain

By Munisha on Mon, 25 Apr, 2022 - 15:39

Angulimala Prison Chaplaincy, which provides the UK Ministry of Justice (MoJ) with Buddhist prison chaplains, seeks to recruit new chaplains.

Though some are volunteers, most UK Buddhist prison chaplains are paid by the MoJ on a part time, sessional basis.

You must be practising the five precepts and willing to teach Buddhism to people from different Buddhist schools and traditions.

For more details, please write to the Ven. Ajahn Khemadhammo at https://angulimala.org.uk/contact/
