  • Aryanita, Sanghanistha and Saddhanandi gave short talks on their vision as the Chairs of the Paris Buddhist Centre, Padmaloka and Adhisthana respectively.
  • Aryanita is the Chair of the Paris Buddhist Centre - a role she took on only one year after ordination. Having come from a business background, assisting in the formulation of organisational strategy and vision, a key learning for her has been the realisation that efficiency isn't the most important thing in the building of sangha, but rather helping people to develop.

Here are some photos from the 2020 Winter European Chairs Assembly meeting which took place at Adhisthana. The ECA meeting is a chance for those chairing Triratna Buddhist Centres across Europe to come together, practice the Dharma, develop friendships and discuss issues of relevance to their sanghas and the Triratna movement, as a whole.

Men’s Open Retreat: “For Heroic Spirits intended”

Ratnaguna gave a series of powerful talks on this retreat in which he explored themes from the Ratnaguna Samcayagatha.

Śraddhāpa also gave a talk about translating the text from Sanskrit into English, a new translation of the text by Śraddhāpa was used on the retreat.
