A recent Guardian article incorrectly stated that Ms Braverman is a member of the Triratna Buddhist Order and attends the London Buddhist Centre twice a month.

The London Buddhist Centre wishes to clarify that Ms Braverman is neither a member of the Triratna Buddhist Order nor has she attended the Centre in recent times.

PoetryEast is delighted to be hosting Rupert Sheldrake, PhD, a biologist and author best known for his hypothesis of morphic resonance. Jnanavaca (who studied physics at Oxford) will be in conversation with Dr Sheldrake about the possible synergy between science and Buddhism, about Sheldrake’s theory of evolution, and about the nature of consciousness.

Hello!

We are Samayakula - located just around the corner from the London Buddhist C​entre in Bethnal Green. We are a women’s community of ​twelve GFR Mitras and Dharmacharinis, aged 28-75 with a broad range of interests including gardening, music, film, period drama, pizza, five rhythms and more. Tulip the cat is also a beloved member of our community - she can often be found dwelling on the nature of impermanence. 

We have a couple of short-term vacancies coming up from 13 June to the beginning of October, along with a potential permanent place, and are looking...
