By Munisha on Tue, 3 Nov, 2015 - 12:35

Samachitta is Chair of Birmingham Buddhist Centre (UK). She writes: “All Buddhist classes at the Birmingham Buddhist Centre have been free since 2009.

Buddhist Action Month 2015 in Dublin

By Sadayasihi on Mon, 25 May, 2015 - 10:26

This is the first year that the Dublin Buddhist Centre has gotten actively involved in Buddhist Action Month.  It has been enthusiastically embraced by the Centre team and the Sangha and now most of the events happening in June have been ‘BAM!’-ed!   To get into the spirit of BAM all events are on a donation or dana basis, (though there is a non-refundable €50 booking deposit for the Cavan retreat).

In the run up to BAM! we are asking...

Le Népal

By Ujumani on Tue, 28 Apr, 2015 - 21:13

Bristol launch ‘Vajra Volunteers’ scheme

By lokabandhu on Sat, 28 Jul, 2012 - 05:33Silajala from Triratna’s Bristol Buddhist Centre writes with news of their latest initiative - the ‘Vajra Volunteers’ scheme, which sounds like a great initiative that could be copied all over Triratna! He describes it thus: - “Do you have odd jobs that you just never seem to get round to? Of course you do! Silly question really isn’t it? You know the sort of thing: repairing the garden fence, clearing out the loft, re-decorating the kitchen, clearing the...
