From Taraloka Retreat Centre on Tue, 26 Mar, 2024 - 00:00

But how can we find and grow these deeper motivations in ourselves? The Tantra tells us to look in our everyday experience. Here’s how! Talk 4 of 4 given on 2024 Taraloka retreat ‘Vajra Energy’, exploring themes from Sangharakshita’s ‘Creative Symbols of Tantric Buddhism’

Vajra Energy

From Taraloka Retreat Centre on Tue, 26 Mar, 2024 - 00:00
The Vajrayana or the Tantra is the Dharma-path of mantra, magic and the transformation of all our energies, rejecting none. And how does the symbol of the vajra, the diamond thunderbolt, illumine this path of transforming all that we are? Talk 1 of 4 given on 2024 Taraloka retreat ‘Vajra Energy’, exploring themes from Sangharakshita’s ‘Creative Symbols of Tantric Buddhism’

The Dakini and the Cremation Ground

From Taraloka Retreat Centre on Tue, 26 Mar, 2024 - 00:00
The naked red sky dancer, embodying the liberated energy of the Awakened mind – playing, living, practising in the fearful Cremation Ground. Heartfelt and searingly honest, Sahajatara talks about how to recognise ‘cremation grounds’ in our own lives – situations that push us beyond our limits – and invites us to recognise the transformative potential of difficulty. Extreme difficulty can be the conditions where the dakini can arise for us. Talk 3 of 4 given on 2024 Taraloka retreat ‘Vajra Energy’, exploring themes from Sangharakshita’s ‘Creative Symbols of Tantric Buddhism’
