Gunaketu berättade om sitt besök på COP30, FN:s klimatkonferens som genomfördes i november 2025 i Belém, Brasilien. Han var en av tre representanter för Samarbeidsrådet for tros- og livssynssamfunn (STL) som hade blivit inbjudna av den norska regeringen att delta i konferensen. Gunaketu funderade mycket på vad han kunde bidra med på konferensen.
