The “seven papers” have communicated a host of norms: of practice, doctrine and behaviour within the Order. We could call this the “rhetoric”. And yet inevitably there will be areas where, for many of us, our “lived reality” diverges from some of the “rhetoric”. This probably introduces a tension.

We will get together to enjoy Soup and, nourished in our body, we will seek spiritual noyurishment through meditation practice in the company of friends - and then we eat cake!
