This week we are able to offer the opportunity to come and spend time with the body of our Teacher.

Centre and Groups coming in groups together have been informed of the time slots available to them over this period. Aparajita and Nandavajra will be co-ordinating this. The Chair of your Centre should be in contact to let you know what has been arranged for your centre should you wish to come along as a group.

The Buddhist Centre team received news that Bhante was gravely ill and immediately entered into puja, during which time Bhante passed away. Since then, we have had a special shrine in place in the festival theatre, which held a continuous ritual until the following evening and concluded with a puja led by Arthapriya. Our Sangha night held a puja with over 100 people, led by our Chair, Ratnaghosha and with reminiscences from Padmasuri. The theatre is available for Sangha members...

Many thanks to Samantabhadri and Shraddhabha for creating this beautiful shrine to Bhante at the Shrewsbury Centre. And much gratitude to Vajradevi for co-ordinating our 3 day vigil last week and the ongoing daily chanting for Bhante that has followed it. The atmosphere at the Centre has been tender and full of love.
