On April 4th we celebrated 53 years of the Order. During our weekly Bodhicitta Practice that week, Paramartha kindly gave a short talk about the practice and the Order’s anniversary, which you can re-watch here.
Also available is this puja led by Santavajri and some of the Tiratanaloka team following the practice, including some beautiful sitar music from Vandanajyoti.
This event marks the start of a coming together of all those in Triratna for whom concern for the environment is an intrinsic part of their Dharma practice. It is sad to inform you that Dhammachari Prasannamitra passed away on 20th April 2021 around 5.00 am. He was 53 years old. His funeral took place today from his home. For some years the doctor has diagnosed that due to some infection his liver was damaged and he was taking treatment. Recently he found coronavirus positive and due to this pandemic, it was difficult to get proper treatment.
