Ordination in Manchester

Dear friends,

I’m very pleased to announce that, in a well attended ceremony at the Manchester Buddhist Centre this afternoon, 13th August 2023, Julie Franklin became Dharmacharini Aryatara.

Aryatara is a Sanskrit name meaning “Noble Saviouress”. The first, third and fourth a’s are long. 

The Private Preceptor was Suryaka and Dayanandi was the Public Preceptor.

I’m looking for a couple to come and live in the beautiful spacious log cabin (5m x 5m) in my secluded garden, and share kitchen, bathroom, living room, office etc in my quirky house in Lewes, East Sussex.  The cabin is very comfortable, and has a wood burner. It’s 5mins walk from miles of beautiful countryside, 20mins walk into the lovely old town, and close to transport / Brighton.
