Success story of Ashwin Jungam

From Aryaloka Computer Education India on Sun, 5 Oct, 2025 - 19:04

I learned programming from Aryaloka Computer Education, and later worked there as a faculty member to teach others. I’ll always be thankful to Aryaketu Dh Sir for introducing me to the world of programming. Without his guidance, I might never have found this path. He’s truly a gem of Nagpur who inspires thousands of students across India to learn computer skills and become independent.

Today, I’m working as a Senior Software Developer at Vodafone in Budapest, Hungary. Recently, Aryaloka institute started the...

As a major element in our meditation for developing bodhicitta, it is already an integral part of our system of practice.

During the day we’ll unpack how you can use a tonglen approach to catalyse positive emotion, both inside and...

Visit of Dhammachari Khemadhamma to Aryaloka Computer Education, Bhilgaon Branch

Dhammachari Khemadhamma recently visited our Aryaloka Computer Education branch at Bhilgaon, Nagpur. During his visit, he met with the students enrolled in the residential computer course and shared inspiring thoughts on becoming a true human being.

He explained how meditation helps ordinary people to grow into true human beings by developing inner peace, awareness, and compassion. In today’s complex and stressful world, he emphasized, meditation is a necessity — a practice that nurtures wisdom...

Wabi-sabi and the 3 Doorways to Freedom with Vajradarshini
A meditation and reflection home retreat
21-25 November

Reserve your place here

The Buddha taught that there are three doorways to freedom. These doorways open when we turn towards our experiences of impermanence, insubstantiality, and suffering. Known as the lakshanas—the marks of conditioned existence—they can seem uninviting. After all, who wants to look closely at the more painful aspects of life?

Back in the 90s, Vajradarshini came across Leonard Koren’s Wabi-sabi for Artists,...

UK & Ireland Combined Order Convention

From Order Connection on Wed, 1 Oct, 2025 - 17:00

“The Order is a network of spiritual friendships, held together not by rules or hierarchy, but by the common act of Going for Refuge”.

Sangharakshita

Coming together on Convention is an opportunity for us to gather as a spiritual community, and reconnect with the depth of our shared Going for Refuge in a way that feels right for each of us. It’s an occasion to strengthen friendships, appreciate one another’s practice, and open ourselves to collective inspiration that can nourish and sustain us.

Death of Bodhilila

From Order Connection on Wed, 1 Oct, 2025 - 11:25

Dear Order members,

Our beloved Bodhilila (of West London Buddhist Centre, UK) died late on the night of Tuesday 30th September, after 18 months of treatment for stage four cancer. She was surrounded by a number of friends in her last hours, with Boogs and Maitripushpa with her during her final breath.

She was ordained in 2010 at Akashavana with Ratnavandana her private preceptor and Maitreyi her public preceptor. Her yidam was Akshobhya.
