Munisha explains BAM for non-Buddhists

From Buddhist Action Month 2014 on Tue, 3 Jun, 2014 - 18:46Hi! I’m co-Chair of the Network of Buddhist Organisations UK, which is running BAM in partnership with Triratna. Here’s what I wrote about BAM for the website of Together in Service, the multifaith social action project of which BAM is a part.

Una guía acerca de hacerse mitra en la Comunidad Budista Triratna

Una guía acerca de hacerse mitra en la Comunidad Budista Triratna

From Bienvenido a las páginas en español on Tue, 3 Jun, 2014 - 17:18La palabra sánscrita ‘mitra’ simplemente significa ‘amigo’.

Take Hold of Your Life

From Coogee Buddhist Group on Tue, 3 Jun, 2014 - 07:30Hi Fellow Coogee Meditators

The Buddha said that just as the oceans of the earth have but one taste, the taste of salt, so too his teachings have one taste; freedom!

So what does it mean for a human being to be free?

In my own experience quite of lot of this freedom has been finding a way out from the self-centred, narcissistic knot that I had tied myself into. A knot that was formed and...

From Free Buddhist Audio on Mon, 2 Jun, 2014 - 14:28In our FBA Podcast today, “The Motive (Remixed),”, Padmavajra explores a great classic of Tibetan Buddhism – Gampopa’s ‘Jewel Ornament of Liberation’. UK Buddhist Action Month begins

From Triratna Young Buddhists on Mon, 2 Jun, 2014 - 12:59The UK’s Buddhist Action Month (BAM) began yesterday, with Buddhist groups all over the UK - and even in Stockholm and Essen too - beginning a month of talks and activities celebrating Buddhist social action.
