Our Summer Sangha Picnic

From Portsmouth Buddhist Center on Fri, 13 Jun, 2014 - 01:40Our Summer Sangha Picnic will be held on Sunday, July 20, 11 - 2 pm. We’ll be gathering for a POTLUCK at Great Island Commons in Newcastle - everyone is welcome.

Great Island Commons has several picnic areas, a large field for games, walks along the sea shore, a beach, a large playground, and spectacular views. Bring your friends and family along with a vegetarian dish to share for the POT LUCK PICNIC.

Not that I have ever lost confidence, but it is still heartwarming to see in the ground preparation for the foundation. the completion in sight. As Sonam, the stonemason, said: “It will radiate love for thousands of years”.

“After a launch evening on the 27th May, we’ve asked the Birmingham sangha to take a green precept for the month. People are making pledges on the Centre’s Facebook page and on a noticeboard in the cafe.
