We’ve created a collaborative ‘WIKI-style’ document for Kiswahili translations of some basic Buddhists texts and ceremonies used in the Triratna Buddhist Community. So far we’re working on the Dedication Ceremony; the Refuges and Precepts; and the Threefold Puja. If you speak Kiswahili, please help us improve and perfect them!

This group hosts a collection of basic Triratna ritual texts and ceremonies which have been translated into Afrikaans. Many thanks to Acalaraja, Annie Leatt (now ordained as Dhammamegha), and Ezelle Theunissen for their work.
So far we have translations of the Dedication Ceremony; the Refuges and Precepts; and the Threefold Puja – including a recording of Acalaraja reading the Threefold Puja in Afrikaans.
We’d love to post translations of these texts into other African languages...
