Greetings to all around the world as we set our sights on BAM 2018. The sangha here has had an early introduction to the BAM theme, so we could include our Buddha Day celebrations in our program. What better example could we have of ‘transforming self transforming world’ than the Buddha Shakyamuni, whose words and example have affected billions of people down through the ages, since he set rolling the wheel of the Dharma in our world age.

This year, the Combined Area Order Weekend will be held at Adhisthana, with indoor and camping places as last year, from Friday 24th to Monday 27th August, ending after lunch and a clear-up on Monday.
Women General Retreat from 15th to 20th May 18. Attended by 50 women. Subject of Retreat was Mahamangal Sutta. Led by Dhni. Danachitta, Dhni. Yashotama, Dhni. Maitridarshini and Dhni. Modini.
We are very sad to inform you that Dharmachari Bodhana died around 1:15 am on May 19th, at the age of 69 years old, after battling a recent quickly developing cancer. Bodhana was ordained in September 2007 at Aryaloka Buddhist Center by his private preceptor, Vidhuma, and public preceptor, Nagabodhi. His yidam was Amoghasiddhi.
