Preface
Members of the Ethics Kula respond here to some of your questions about the Panel Process and Safeguarding. A new special place

From Espace Sangha de Paris on Thu, 23 May, 2019 - 15:57

Buddha Day Celebrations

From Triratna News on Thu, 23 May, 2019 - 11:05

Suppose a man wandering in a forest wilderness found an ancient path, an ancient trail, travelled by men of old, and he followed it up, and by doing so he discovered an ancient city, an ancient royal capital, where men of old had lived, with parks and groves and lakes, walled round and beautiful to see. So I too found the ancient path, the ancient trail, travelled by the Fully Enlightened Ones of old” (...

Interreligious climate pilgrim from Oslo

From Buddhist Action on Wed, 22 May, 2019 - 21:25

To inspire greater collaberation around climat action we organize in Oslo an Interreligious climat pilgrimage from Oslo to Fredrikstad to the South of Oslo. Search Facebook for @klimapilgrimsvandring.

We believe that all the various faith systems have in them both dogmas, texts and practices that aim at preserving the environment. If we can connect with the deeper values regarding the environment, in different spiritual networks, it will be easier to mobilize for common environmental causes. We also think that a shift to more...

Applying to become a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation)

From Triratna Resources on Tue, 21 May, 2019 - 17:22

A Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) is the form that the Charity Commission now suggest charities use - it has the benefit of limiting the liability of the trustees.

It is not that hard to do, honestly! The attached documents provide some helpful samples and advice but let us know if you think there is an important omission (info [at] triratnadevelopment.org) - the Development Team are not experts in charity law but will do what they can to help!

From Free Buddhist Audio on Mon, 20 May, 2019 - 14:00

Our FBA Dharmabyte today is called Generosity Leads to Happiness by Vijayasri.

This is another talk in our exploration of The Journey and The Guide. Vijayasri considers how having generosity at the centre of a mandala, based on the positive precepts, can help us to develop positive emotion.

This talk, Generosity As A Foundation Of Positive Emotion, was given at Croydon Buddhist Centre in February 2016 as part of the regular Saturday Morning Sangha Class.
