I am delighted to let you know that Sue Harrison, from Great Yarmouth (and Norwich) will be privately ordained by Ratnavandana on a small ordination retreat at Adhisthana from 20th to 26th June. Her public Ordination ceremony will take place at the Norwich Buddhist Centre on Sunday 28th June conducted by Sanghadevi at 2.30pm.
Dharmachari Vimuktin from Mexico has resigned from the Order. He wrote to me as his private preceptor on 7th May letting me know that he was about to be ordained into a “Nygma Order” and on 19th May wrote formally resigning. I have asked him if he wanted to write a resignation letter for the Order, and have waited till now in the hope of receiving something, but haven’t heard back from him.
I am sorry to announce the resignation of Dharmachari Dayajit. Dayajit was ordained in 2006 at the Newcastle Buddhist Centre, with Lokabandhu as his private preceptor, and Abhaya as his public preceptor. Both Lokabandhu and I, Abhaya, have been in recent contact with him either in person (in Lokabandhu’s case) or by phone and or email, listening to his reasons for resigning and discussing with him as appropriate.
