Funeral arrangements for Varakhanti

Dear Order members,

Back in 2015 Varakhanti asked six of her friends to collaborate in leading and organising her funeral: Dridhasakhi, Khemajoti, Khemasiddhi, Prajnagupta, Sucimani and Vijayasri. Alongside her family we are now honouring our dear friend’s wishes by working together to organise both the funeral and a commemorative event.

On the 30th October 2018 Urgyen Sangharakshita, the founder of Triratna’s Order and Community died. At his funeral last November an estimated 1,200 to 1,400 people attended the ceremony and burial in Adhisthana, and over 60,000 more watched online around the world.
